yin & yang, Siberian Siren edition

Good: A gorgeous younger woman hanging out in my Lake Place being social.

Bad: We both brought food. I ate most of it.

Good: She brought primo herbal tea from Remedy.

Bad: I got to bed late because she's an even bigger night owl than I am.

Good: She filled in the gaps in my knowledge of how her parents handled her coming out.

Bad: I wish the news had been better.

Bad: I wish I didn't have to pass it on to another friend who's had a rough coming out recently.

Good: Confirmation that the SS & I really would, as she was the first to observe, be an absolute disaster as a couple. We just don't have the same goals in life or approach thereunto. In my heart of hearts, I'm all about PLUR. She's all about power, and makes no bones about it.

Bad: Hearing just how good she and her butches are at the queer women's dating game...

Good: ...at least in the short term. Longer term, it remains to be seen who'll do better. Given my age, Unusual Medical History, and objectives (see PLUR above), I'm doing pretty well even in comparison.

Good: I kind of needed that right then.
