biking in the streets for sure
Apr. 20th, 2020 12:42 pmBicycles have just been banned from the trails at Green Lake and Seward Park in Seattle. It's the right decision, but I'll miss the view and the scent of the flowers. They've closed the street to cars on the south side of Green Lake, so at least that side isn't a safety issue, medically or mechanically. Traffic has been light enough and I ride early enough that other streets in the area aren't bad at all.
My work Monday is kind of bananas, but I did get a new belt from Fluevog that I love. That's right: I'm doing retail therapy over the internet.
I'm reading more Octavia Butler. As much as I love her work, the timing is at least as bad as reading Perdido Street Station after sex reassignment surgery.
