Jul. 4th, 2021 06:56 amThe Tickler graciously drove up here, then drove me through the maze of twisty, busy roads that is West Seattle with the bridge out so we could have dinner at Itto's, which was one of her favorites back when she lived in the neighborhood.
I'm happy to report that Itto's food & cocktails are as fantastic as ever. We sat outdoors, not just because of COVID but because of the perfect weather. She got the seat that let her watch the sunset behind the Olympics. We checked out all the dogs being walked past us, and of course the younger women walking by. After dinner she had the fine idea of making out in front of the Catholic church where she parked.
She didn't stay the night because, she says, there's nowhere comfortable to sleep at the Devil Girl Pad. I need to remedy that, and it won't be cheap, quick, or easy. Le sigh.
