I have to fire Ms. Zappy.
Aug. 27th, 2021 12:47 pmI took a peek at Zuckerberg's data mine earlier today, when I saw a post comparing requirements to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination at restaurants to Nazi death camps. The person who posted it? Ms. Zappy.
You know that's wrong, right? Good. My son and his mother are Jewish. Hitler murdered their blood relatives. Any comparison of that to vaccine passports is profoundly offensive, the product of a piss baby.
As alert readers may know, this isn't the first anti-vax or anti-vax adjacent nonsense she's spouted. I don't see how I can trust her to keep me – or any other client, or our families – safe from COVID-19.
Congratulations, sweetie, you just destroyed a twelve-year business relationship that's been worth well over $20K to you. All you had to do to avoid doing that was to shut your mouth.
Where will I find a replacement? The same place I found her: Caddell's. They'll be more expensive, but as it happens I was nearly done. No, really, I have fewer than ten hairs that I can even feel on my face, neck, and nipples. A la carte at Caddell's may be the way to go, especially since they're being sensible about COVID-19.
I've been buying time in blocks in advance, and she still owes me a few hours. I guess I'll be asking for that money back, and I should probably do so in writing. Do I do that now, or do I do that when I get back from London? I'm leaning toward the latter.
