force of gravity vs. wardrobe of Goth
May. 31st, 2022 04:03 pmOne of the shelves in my closet partially collapsed sometime today. The shelves themselves are steel, but some of the parts attaching them to the wall are plastic. Now they're broken plastic. I've called my agent. We shall see if it's under warranty, etc. Just replacing the plastic parts with steel would do the job, no problem, but I don't know if that's an option without calling upon
gfish to fabricate them.
What was on that shelf? Boots, of course, and not even by biggest and heaviest ones. This seems the universe trying to teach me some kind of anti-materialist lesson that I refuse to learn. My wardrobe is positively modest compared to that of plenty of my girlfriends my age.
Good thing I'm not throwing the housewarming until the month after next.
