one woman's struggle to take it easy
Dec. 28th, 2022 11:13 amI spent a couple of hours yesterday fixing an outage at work that I caused. My vacation technically started yesterday morning, but welcome to the glamorous world of the online services industry.
So by way of karmic payback, I've finally settled on a New Year's Eve plan: I shall don my red latex dress and hit the Wildrose. I hope I can get a group together, but my track record for that isn't exactly stellar.
Why there? It's cheap, queer, and transit-accessible. And even on a normal Saturday night the 'Rose is fun.
Oh, and for New Year's Day, I have a ticket to the Monkey Loft rooftop thing. Also fun and transit-accessible, but not cheap and not specifically queer.
