I have survived a mega social weekend.

Friday: a farewell to R at the Merc. *Sniffle.* R has usually been an island of goofy chill in the stormy seas of drama that are the Burner & goth communities. I shall miss him.

It's... not great that I saw Temptress's fella there, but I did get to chat with Vienna La Rouge. When a woman that attractive sits next to you in latex, you better be wearing latex. Fortunately, I was. Yeah, a fetish night at the Merc.

Saturday afternoon: got on the bus for coffee with former co-worker C, but she spaced it even though it was her idea. Rescheduled. At least I got to stop by Ben's bread and try it. Thumbs up!

Saturday evening: Tacoma Girl got to hear my by now well-practiced tales of Wave-Gotik Treffen along with the music of French Canadian purdy boy Automelodi. Much happiness.

Sunday: an attempt with Dancer to go to Brouwer's, which is sadly soon to close, but they were closed for the evening. A staff party? I can only speculate. Luckily, Revel was half a block away. Dancer's ankle is still messed up, so I didn't want to propose schlepping across lower Fremont.
