work, plus a little self-reflection

Being on call for work ate me alive on Monday night and Tuesday. In related news, I've encountered a case where AWS more or less told the truth about a certain use of one of their APIs not really working, but at least one major third party didn't get the memo. Le sigh.

Updates to my retroactive New Year's resolutions: more kinky, less drinky. I've decided to join my son in the latter. Also, more creative circumflatulation. I haven't done much since... I can't even remember. And speaking of getting back on horses, I need to get back to shaking the tree. I just need to be smarter about it than I have been previously.

Making plans for San Francisco next week. Aw, yeah.
