at Pride and yet not

I didn't want to leave for Pride before my son's sleepover guest left, so I ended up getting there late and missing everybody I know who was in the parade. I couldn't even find the Wet Spot booth. Arg! I will say, though, that it's much more pleasant having the parade where there's room and trees for shade along the sidewalks. According to the local TV news, attendance is up 25%, which is an unmitigated Good Thing.
