I finally flew a kite with my boy. We took the cheap-ass kite we got at the beach two or three years ago and intermittently got it off the ground at Magnuson Park. I'd been wanting to do that for ages. Sure, he whined about going at first -- Nibs needed to do some journalism and couldn't come with us -- but it was very happy-making for me.

The Space Virgins have meetings that stick to the agenda better than meetings at any company I've worked for. So wrong, and yet so right.

Time to curl up with a nice geeky book after catching up on laundry.
