things for which I'm thankful

1. When the weather turns foul, I have a treadmill, an iPod, and a fan for a pre-feast workout.
2. Nibs cooks way better than I do.
3. Unlike the US State Department, the Abbey has a no-China policy this year.
4. My water heater holds exactly enough to do post-Thanksgiving dishes.
5. Nibscousins have kids not much older than my son to keep him from bouncing off the walls.
6. I haven't succeeded in my grand quest just yet, but doing so isn't as urgent as it could be.

Nibs proposed that I go out tonight instead of tomorrow night because I'll be taking the Sanctimobile in to see the doctor on Saturday morning. Surely she jests. The current nun plan is to catch Jacob London at the War Room with a chance of a Usual Haunt prior to that.

How was the show last night? I was at QFC and the checker told me there was a huge fight at the War Room.

Hunh! I must have missed the fight. The War Room has the tightest security I've seen at a 21+ venue, so it's a dumb place to pick a fight. Jacob London was fun, but not as glitch & unpredictable as usual.
