I snapped my rear brake cable, but happily, the SUV I was braking hard to avoid was driven by somebody better than the average Redmond scum. I was planning on heading to the bike shop today anyway because my boy has finally discovered his bike, so I need to replace the tube that he deliberately punctured a couple of years ago to avoid being made to ride it. I also can't remember the last time my back wheel wasn't out of true.

vorona and the rest of you MOTs. Last night Nibs declared the Abbey to be Israeli soil, with all that that implies this time of year: Passover lasts seven days there, not eight like everywhere else, so even strictly observant Israelis are happily munching leavened bread today. The Wendling wasn't having any of that this morning, though, and insisted on a PB&J on matzoh for breakfast, which I duly made. You have to love Aspies and their love of rules.
