Remember when I went hair-pulling meshuggah a couple of weeks ago over losing my company badge and with it my bus pass? I just found it - in my iPod case, no doubt put there the last time I sync'd it. That must have been some mighty fine crack I was smoking at the time. The good news: I have an extra badge holder.

Most of the last two weeks have been like that, though: making silly mistakes and recovering, often through serendipity or the help of others. I've apparently finally recovered from my good twin's departure for India a week ago. I'm looking forward to going to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. (As if I won't get sucked into the Economist or something.)

In a few months, I'll be getting sucked into the published wisdom of cupcake_goth. If you don't know her, well, I feel sorry for you. She's a unique combination of decency, common sense, and yes, style like no other.

So who is your evil twin who went to India? I keep hearing about them without really getting the context.

I'm the evil twin. The good twin is the other dev on my feature. He'll be visiting family in India until January. Together we strive to answer the eternal question, "Where the hell's my email?"
