As often as I notice that my Puppigrrl is becoming a doddering old lady of a doggy, she can still muster considerable power and grace for jumping on the bed. Yes, I know you're not supposed to allow them up there for reasons of behavior, but she's so old and stiff now that a) she barely has the energy to misbehave, b) the floor is uncomfortable for her, and c) she won't sleep on her doggy bed in the closet anymore because she apparently wants to be near us all the time now that her ears are failing.
