sistawendy: me in my nurse costume looking weirded out (weirded out)
The fat redistribution and muscle mass reduction from hormones have been going on for months. Shoot, some of you have even said as much in person. What you can't see, though, is how they (estradiol plus the anti-androgen spironolactone) seem to have affected my appetite.

I seem to fill up faster. I don't get the munchies after dinner so much as three or four hours after lunch. (I heard my stomach growl at that hour today!) I don't feel like eating the same thing for breakfast every day for weeks at a stretch anymore, a longtime habit that used to horrify Nibs. Real or imaginary?
For going outside in my bathrobe, I had nothing to wear on my feet except boy slippers. I can't have that, so I succumbed to Croc-like clogs. Hey, I won't be doing anything more public than taking out the trash in them.

Also, another of my tightest sports bra. I can't help but wonder if neighbor L, whom I don't trust to be as hip as round-the-corner neighbor S, guessed anything when I introduced her to Bigpuppy yesterday.

ETA: Oh yeah! I'm out to one of my neighbors now! S & her hubby are about ten years older than I am, but they're total lefties and serious dog people. Of course they're cool with me.

I get hungry at that same time too. The breakfast thing may or may not be the hormones though -- I've eaten the same thing for breakfast for basically 8 years. :)
