maccaroons and name dropping

PCC Kirkland faked me out: the only kind of maccaroon they had was vegan; usually the only kind the have isn't. Vegan maccaroons are crumbly and funky-tasting. They embarassed me in front of Her Nibs, who was sympathetic, but still sent me to Dairy Queen to get something edible. I shall make PCC pay. Oh yes.

Went to Casa xmurf and had a good time watching MOOers wrestle. I got to see something I never thought I'd see: plantae in a chain mail shirt. It suited her disturbingly well. Because of the wedding, we had a minyan: xiadyn, datavore, corivax, randomdreams, shadowblue, eeyorerin, and digitalis. quidditas was there and scintillating as usual; gotta get that woman a MOO account so she doesn't overachieve. In addition...

...from the party took rigel_p and cria_cow a-Mercing. I was disappointed at how dead it was (See what I mean, quidditas?), but that seemed to be OK with my guests. Danced in new clothes. Tried to extract 133+ sewing knowledge from balzacq with partial success. Met Fledermaus, another member of the select group of people old enough to run for Congress who don't look or act that way, of which I approve highly.

Welcome coulrophobe, who should be a fashion consultant or at least a professional shopper. I failed to recognize her in twisted 50's clothes.

I now have one hour to eat, rundy puppy, shower, and get the Wendling to his baseball game. Yee!

You give me too much credit! I tend to think my fashion sense consists of "it smells mostly clean and the colors don't clash."

Good seeing you out (and it's actually kind of cool when people don't recognize me right off the bat - I feel all mysterious when I'm incognito). :)
