1 day until I leave.
3 days until the Grand Snip.
0 business days. I managed to get my loose ends tied up at work.
Today at 9:00 PM marks one year of Full Time for me, making me eligible for surgery under the long-established standards of care. (These days they're the WPATH standards, if I remember correctly.) I made it.
This past year has been so amazing for me - in large part thanks to the people reading this - that I'm a little worried I'll never come close to it again. Full Time, the Bang, Pride, and Burning Man and their aftermaths were the icing on what's been a magnificent cake.
After the Grand Snip, will I calm down and be a normal woman? Hell no, not if I can help it. I love my life now. I say that without any reservations or exceptions, and you wouldn't have heard me say that at all in the bad old days.
What's next? I've got three things on my agenda.
Belly dance would fit two of those. The usual constraints of time & money apply.
