Went to the house swarming of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
leenerella. Wonderful house, food, daiquiris, and peeps I hadn't seen in way too long - plus a gazillion babies & toddlers, including the hostess's 3-month-old! To die for. I love it when cool people reproduce. What kills me is that I left a few hours before P from the Josephine emailed to say she was coming. Le sigh. And why did I leave at all?
Because I'd already RSVP'd yes to J&J, the lesbians who adopted me at Pride last year. I knew the party wasn't at their place in Mill Creek, and I thought it was in north Seattle. But neau. It was in Marysville, about half an hour's drive north. It was... a lesbian potluck, only with more people wearing green. I admit to missing the group of black-clad, artsy, big-city hotties I'd just left, queer and otherwise. And have I mentioned the strong tendency of lesbians near my age to have partners? Yeah, that's a problem.
So I headed back south to the Mark Farina show in perhaps not the best mood, but damned if he didn't work his magic on me. In about half an hour I was a speaker-freakin', stage-rushin', sweaty dancin' fool. The music was less bleepy than samply this time, and I was happy not to recognize any of it or the things Farina did with it. Oh, and the rather cute DJ Mercedes from Portland (re-?)introduced herself to me. I left at a reasonable hour, but only because of fatigue & dehydration. My mood was improved, and Farina's still got it.
Spent most of today recovering. I need to stop partying quite so hard so often.
