I'd been meaning to go to a reading by horror writer
icebluenothing for an embarrassing number of years. Not only did I finally make it to one last night at Wayward Coffeehouse; I took m'boy and got to hear Luna Lindsey's very first public reading, too. Luna brought the sci fi & fantasy.
That was worth many, many times the price of the cookies my son and I ate. We did leave shortly before it ended, but that was because he was getting tired & whiny. Until then, he liked it too. I'm doing that again, and I'm not going to wait so long next time.
