a better-than-average 4th of July

So much yay yesterday. The list:

1. Absolutely perfect sunny weather, just in time.
2. Not one but two barbecues: Chez leenerella and Chez theda.
3. I took m'boy, who seemed to enjoy himself despite the lack of other teens.
4. I promised him good food & cute women, and I did not disappoint either of us. That may have had something to do with the immediately preceding item.
5. Getting to talk to a lot of people that I (*sniffle*) don't get to talk to as often as I used to.
6. Watched Firefly & fireworks afterwards with Nibs, who wasn't feeling up to her original plans.
7. Bigpuppy wasn't bothered by the fireworks because we doped her up. BIG SCARY DAWG only stoned & mellow. We made with extra primate lovins.
