I went on another first date last night with a woman whom I met on OKCupid. I have to say, I haven't had a first date go that well in a long time. My hair is curly, and hers is even curlier. Curlier is bi, poly, and (ahem) shares some of my interests. Yeah, quelle surprise. She's fun to talk to, an art teacher, Jewish, and perhaps therefore reminiscent of Nibs in a way that's both pleasant and a little disturbing to me. Curlier doesn't strike me as being on a mission, though - certainly less than I am, and less than Nibs was 18 (!) years ago. I'll be emailing her shortly about a second date.

ETA: I'm beginning to think that there's an inverse relationship between the number of zits on my face and the quality of the date.

One of my friends from chiptune had a little birthday party late last night. It was originally scheduled for 10:00, so I chilled at the Mercury after my date. However, she nudged it to 10:30 and then showed up 45 minutes after that. Needless to say, I was in bed by the time I got the text saying she couldn't find me.

Guess her age. Just guess. That's right: under 25. My snarky side wonders if she gets away with this stuff regularly because she's really pretty.
