As your breasts grew (or grow) did you find that your bra straps were less prone to slipping off your shoulders? That seems to be happening to me, and it's a welcome development.
All depends on shoulder shape, ime. I have sloping shoulders, so no matter bra size or style, the straps can be slippy. Friends w/similar shoulder shape have the same issue (usually, it's costumers who've realized this bec. we have pattern fit problems in that area :).
A combo of larger breasts & straighter/higher shoulders (along w/well-fitted bra) will prob. lead to less slippage.
It should help with the fit if you'll be closer to what manufacturers type as 'average'. Sloping shoulders might be a factor. Have you tried racer backs? Or the clips that create a racer back with your regular straps? Having the straps start between your shoulderblades like that might improve the angle. This is why bra shopping is such a BITCH. You need one constructed for your body. The angles have to match what you have /and/ what you want.
I have the opposite problem - nerve damage from straps digging in. The alternative is not breathing. *shrug* Be glad if you only have wardrobe malfunction straps. Showing straps is SMEXY, so I hear. ;)
