While I was tracking down an ATM in Portland on Saturday, my Good Sister called again. My Evil Sister did indeed go to Mom's doctor and say that she can't take care of herself, she needs memory tests, etc. Mom hasn't agreed to any tests; I talked to Mom while driving around Portland yesterday. However, GS tells me that something good has come from this: ES and my mom are talking to each other again. Yes, I think that's a good thing, too.
GS, unlike me, isn't suspicious of ES's motives, but those motives matter less now. If ES hasn't seen the error of her ways from actually talking to Mom for the first time since Mom's stents were put in, Mom can take the tests and put this to rest.
(Pronouns are kind of useless when there are four women involved, aren't they?)
