Remember the (rerun of) my talk, "How to Change Sex the Easy Way"? Our video man at work shot it, but I had assumed that it wasn't available externally.

I assumed wrongly. Here it is.

If you're a regular reader of this journal, you already know what's in the video. If you watch, you get to see me make too many hesitation noises and refer to my sisters' nieces instead of their children, i.e. my nieces. This video is also educational for me - a bit brutally so - about my voice and my posture.

I can't believe my employer did this for me. I'm so lucky to be living in the time & place when I do.

ETA: If any of you all want to share this link, go for it. This is my contribution to making trans people a little less misunderstood.

Really great to watch! Heh, only 6 months to legally change your name - took me a year to change my 1st name & that doesn't include my passport, which didn't happen for another 2 years & involved tears ;-)

Thanks. Im the case of ID with gender markers, I was pretty motivated to get them done quickly.
