Let's start with Thursday night, shall we? Yes, another Skype date with the Tickler, and yes, it was lovely. The blinds were drawn; unusual underwear was worn. I have every intention of doing them every Thursday night until she comes back. I've asked her if she has any requests for her amateur cam girl. Hey, I'm doing this for humanitarian reasons among others: she's all alone in a less-than-liberal part of the world. I'm a giver that way.

Friday night was supposed to be a dinner date with Taller Woman, but her ex called and said, basically, "Here, have your kid a night earlier than you'd planned." She says this happens a lot, thereby putting the kibosh on a lot of her plans for grown-up fun. Sadness.

I persevered, though, and rescheduled dinner for last night at Witness, to which she'd never been. I have turned her into a Witness fan as the Siberian Siren turned me into one. We geeked out over chicken & waffles & red beans & rice. We then went on a long walk for pretty much the entire length of commercial Broadway plus Pike & Pine, part of which was closed to cars and full of apparent karaoke. We checked out a nice sex shop, we talked, and did I say that was a long walk? Taller Woman has been much involved in charities over the years; she really is a giver, which is no mean feat when you're raising a six-year-old mostly on your own. She's still dealing with the effects of the chemo she just finished; she says medical weed helps greatly. I... have reason to believe she's into me. Ahem.

And then I went to the record label launch party for Dave Pezzner & Bob Hanssen, formerly known collectively as Jacob London, at the Monkey Loft, with Much Younger Woman. She & I are both relieved to have finally found somebody we can take to that kind of show. For me, Riz Rollins was the highlight. I kind of hit the wall at 0200 when they opened the roof deck. I got to introduce MYW to the lovely view and talk about serious stuff. MYW stands out for oddity even in my circles, and I love that about her. Good thing she shares a first name with Taller Woman.

So that's four (4) dates in the last week with three (3) different women. (Remember, I went to a movie with Much Younger Woman on Tuesday. Try to keep up.) I'm exhausted but happy. I can't believe I've turned into that girl. The state of Washington may be suffering from a drought, but mine appears to be over.
