Nun chills out for the weekend.

Saw the latest Star Wars with m'boy. The writers did a good job of keeping it fresh. It's strange how I just can't quite accept Mark Hamill as an old man, because he is one now.

Went to the Merc in head-to-toe velvet to keep warm, and also to entice ladies into petting me. I only succeeded with the first of those, apparently because I got tired & went home early.

Ex & I made plans to go out for Chinese dinner in the grandest Jewish tradition, but then the snow intervened. I was still game, but she wasn't. Given the trouble that people have had getting around, it turns out she was right. There are maaaybe 3" on the ground right now - the grass has disappeared - so much of the country would find it laughable that Seattle shuts down under such conditions. But we don't have the snow removal equipment because it doesn't snow enough here to make maintaining a fleet economical, so shut down we do. I think riding my bike around Green Lake is contraindicated today.

I hope the kiddo is still going to make it up here as planned one way or another, because I've got dinner plans with friends involving goose. Luckily, they're within walking distance.

Yum! My goose turned out delicious. I was careful to spice it with only salt, pepper, and a little sage so my cats could have some too. Lilo and Dinah approved. Kiara graciously declined, so Dinah ate Kiara's portion.
