Maura's Illuminated Manuscript

Someone talked you out of trying Jaegermeister? As in, you've never had it, and they told you you shouldn't, and you said okay? If so, they've done you a disservice, to say the least - totally aside from the fact that I'm rather fond of Jaeger, I can't think of a good reason to not at least try something new (unless it were rat poison, that is).
