Made a rare DIE appearance to say Hippy Barfday to alexiarnps, who's been so generous to me it triggers my paranoia. I felt tense for no reason, but still, being social in the middle of the week is a Good Thing for the same reason going to the Humptulips post office is: to show yourself that you can. coulrophobe has talked me out of trying Jaegermeister, and vorona has talked me out of being a librarian, not that I was in any real danger of either. Maybe one should only be a librarian after drinking lots of Jaegermeister.

Someone talked you out of trying Jaegermeister? As in, you've never had it, and they told you you shouldn't, and you said okay? If so, they've done you a disservice, to say the least - totally aside from the fact that I'm rather fond of Jaeger, I can't think of a good reason to not at least try something new (unless it were rat poison, that is).

I've heard it compared to Nyquil twice now. Yeah, I might try it if it were right in front of me and I didn't have to pay for it.

Odd. I seem to remember Jaeger being fairly sweet. Of course, it was back in my lush days, and I might've been so drunk at the time as not really to be able to tell. :)

And now I'm picturing you in a turn-of-the-century library costume. A la Shirley Jones in The Music Man. Which is really funny because the other night I went to sleep with "If you don't mind my saying so" playing in my head.

You'd need a big giant bun wig with the little loose ringlety curls for the full effect. And spectacles on your nose over which to peer. Oh yes.
