Nun has fabulous weekend, but fails to appreciate it.

This weekend I've

• been to Itto's for the first time in what seemed like ages with the Tickler
• gone clubbing while supremely Gothed up with her as well, enjoying much people watching and groove
• had dinner with J&R at our favorite haunt, the Teacher's Lounge
• shown Sydney pics to all three of of the above
• had coffee and chatted much in Georgetown with leenerella
• hit IKEA and thereby gotten my anal-retentiveness on at home

By any reasonable standard this was a damn fine weekend. And yet, I think I have a post-Sydney mental whiplash. This weekend I have not seen any trees or birds I've never even heard of before, nor have I chatted with any latex-clad ladies with exotic (to me) accents. Wherever you go, there you are, eventually.
