Went to
ivolucien's Metaphorest Halloween pah-tay. It was less of a sardine scene than usual, but still worth the trip. I mean, a big, lovely old house full of eats, drinks, and inventively costumed freaks: you can't go wrong. I seem to have discovered seekrit parking spaces up the street, too, which excites me disproportionately. (No costume details until next weekend. Sorry. Let's just say it's even more obscure than usual.)
Her Nibs gets an MRI later this morning for a mysterious thing deep in her calf -- I've felt it -- which has been causing her considerable pain. Her doctors are trying pretty hard not to alarm her because, hey, they don't know what it is, which is sort of the point of getting an MRI. It could be a lipoma, which is benign and removable but stands a good chance of growing back. Stay tuned.
