sistawendy | VLR Day - victory over the living room

The fridge is repaired and cooling as I type, thereby bringing me into the 20th century. The living room is as together as it can get without a couch. The bookshelves are together and full. All devil girls except one, which I've saved for the bedroom, are on the walls.

I'm still not sure what's up with my solid waste service. No gotta bins yet. That's just as well, though, because I've got another big heap of cardboard from the above.

I have just ordered a couch from IKEA. If that's not snobby or frugal enough for you, I cordially invite you to go fuck yourself. This move has suuuuucked, and anything that makes it suck less by not demanding my time, attention, or too much money is a win. Besides, I doubt I'll be a heavy couch user; I ♥ my Poång chairs from IKEA, cheap & beat up as they are. They're super comfy.

My back is sore. Quelle surprise.

I have mad plans for interior decorating. You'll just have to wait for the house swarming to see what they are.

Oh: I think I sleep better in this house with the bedroom door open. Time for an experiment tonight. That wasn't a good option at the old place because my son was sometimes in the other room.
