1) Scoring some pretty clothes that fit me at absurdly low prices at a goth garage sale yesterday. Yay
tiff_seattle for indirectly cluing me into it. Yay the women there for letting me try stuff on in their bathroom. One of them was breast feeding her cute, sleepy little wispy-haired baby on the steps when I showed up. Daddy goth showed up a few minutes later. Her Nibs is afraid they'll dress the baby in black, but I think it would be to die for. I wish I could have hung around longer and bought more stuff, but I had to get home because...
2) the Wendling had a play date with a bunch of other autistic kids organized by FEAT (Families for Effective Autism Treatment), where he enjoyed flinging balls into the street. It gave me enough time to...
3) sand part of my deck in preparation for sealing it. I finished that today. It's something I'd been putting off for ages. It's taken me about six hours of work total. A fun fact about those floor sanders that you can rent: they work really well as long as what you're sanding isn't warped as badly as my deck. However, perseverance, an orbital sander, and 36 grit sandpaper won the day. Now all I need are 48 consecutive dry hours so I can apply the goop. Mmm. Solvent fumes.

It cleans the belt, and it does an amazing job of it. Probably pentuples the lifetime of a belt by keeping it unclogged. Especially if you're fighting paint (I assume you're not) but just in general, it's an AMAZING thing.
