If ever there were any such thing as graver music, I heard it last night: the openers were pretty close to EBM. Indeed, I saw
devilpuppy and
gravesme there and said yeau. Sure, I danced, but to tell you the truth I would have preferred deep house.
I only got to catch the first ten minutes of Modeselektor, but those ten minutes weren't standard issue. Imagine sped-up, teched-up reggae. Not bad.
It's hard not to dance like a hippie when you're wearing stilts.
Friendly folks. I wish I could have stuck around longer, but I don't ask for a later curfew unless I'm really looking forward to something, maybe a handful of times a year.
