underwear retrieval

Seldom have I been more relieved than when I found my dirty laundry including most of my underwear on the Space Virgins' truck. I meant to take it with me in the SUV, but somehow neither I nor my carpool buds got it. It was in a trash bag, so I was terrified they'd toss it on the way home. Not only did they not get rid it, but somebody added some dirty clothes to mine and I got a new vinyl skirt out of the deal! Awesome.


To replace: boobs, bike headlamp, tent stakes. (Two of my re-bar stakes shattered when struck with steel.)
To repair: bike brake, tent zippers.
To clean: boots, leather jacket, bins, bike. (Clothes are done.)
To write: update to packing list, trash page on SV wiki

Completely OT--Aspie Mice!

Researchers have developed a strain of mice with a mutation in a brain protein common to people with Asperger's Syndrome. They are smarter than regular mice (!) despite being clueless socially, and are otherwise healthy & normal.

I wonder if they fight less than "normal" mice. Mice spend a lot of time maintaining the social order by beating each other up.
