Through my new polarized shades, car windshields and new asphalt look... different. Darker or sparklier, depending on the angle of view. One doesn't expect to see something that trippy while riding through Redmond on a bicycle.
Ah, yeah. Linear polarisers were great fun. Circular polarisers - needed for the autofocusing lenses I bought later - weren't nearly as interesting. You should play with them in clouds sometime.
All this research I'm doing on these old lenses I have is making me go "agh these are such good lenses why am I selling them?! 'Best portrait lens in the world' and 'Look for this on eBay'" but then going "because you use them approximately never ever, and you don't like the digital bodies you might be able to afford later."
