The Wendling peed into the bowl twice today, and it only took him five minutes each time. Dare I say that this is the beginning of the end of potty training? Dare I?

OK, we still have to work on #2, but hey, I'm not inclined to rain on my own parade. I've been waiting for this a little more than five years and six months.

Congrats! Sounds like he's more comfortable with the whole concept now it's proven that nothing bad or different will happen if he uses the toilet.

I totally understand what you're going through. Ian is still insisting on telling me he doesn't have to go potty and then uses his pull-up instead. I'm working on it though.
