There are times when, even at my age*, you can use some comforting from your mother. I just got it. I can't remember ever feeling this much gratitude toward her. People like me, as you've seen, can't take the love of their families for granted.

She said I should eat some chocolate. I told her she sounded like cupcake_goth. I'll see if I can scare some up.

*I'm double the legal drinking age. Does that mean I get to drink twice as much?

I thrive on the comfort of my mother. In fact, I really don't know how I will manage once she is gone. She is my best friend and the only person in the world I talk with on a weekly if not more basis. Mom comforting is the best! Chocolate always rocks and is always recommended. :)

I am so very glad for you. I really get it about one family member being painful and another making the situation more bearable. Just the reassurance that they're not *all* like that is a huge comfort.

Ha! Yeah, my tighter one I stopped wearing because I would get stuck at the shoulders and Jason would have to help me get it off while I waved my hands helplessly in the air. It was comical.
