Well, it's pretty close. That's about ten mockups and two actual, boned corsets sewn.

Are you making them with metal boning? I'm going to attempt that myself in the hopefully not-too-distant future.

Solid steel is the only way I do it. It's not the boning that's (usually) a problem. The biggest problem, and balzacq can attest to this, is that the fashion fabric and lining didn't match up nicely after I sewed them together. That might be a result of not washing & pressing the fabrics before I cut them. Other problems included: not making the stay cases wide enough (balzacq swears by twill casing tape, which I only found out from him about recently); forgetting during all my alterations that the busk edges need to be straight because the busk is straight; and using ribbon that was too narrow as binding.
