1. if you could be the subject of any work of art by any artist, what would be the end result, and who would be the artist?

At the risk of being too predictable, I just lerve those old portaits from centuries long gone. I'd like to be a noblewoman sitting in a portrait by (in decreasing order of preference) Gainesboro, Titian, or Sargent. There was a Sargent exhibit that came through Seattle a year or two ago. That man could paint clothes like nobody else, and you know I'm all about clothes.

2. what was your very first wearable sewing project?

My cloak, which I wear clubbing in the winter and to Lord of the Rings movies, is sort of my first project, but liepa did much of the work. That cloak, by the way, is two layers of heavy synthetic felt and does its job superbly. My first decent solo project was the chemise for the Red Confection, as seen in the user pic.

3. which of your features do you consider to be the most memorable and representative of yourself, and why?

A toughy. The one that I like the most is my nose. My archless, suction-generating feet are certainly memorable and representative by virtue of being bizarre yet fuctional. I think, though, that I'll go with my hands. I have pretty decent hands for somebody who wants to change sex: not overly large and kind of delicate-looking. (Too bad about all those veins on the back.) I've heard that men have longer ring fingers than index fingers. I was happy to observe that my index fingers are longer. I'm also double-jointed in every finger except my pinkies, one of which was broken in a long-ago game of touch football.

4. cobalt blue, lapis lazuli, or antique amber, and why?

Lapis lazuli. I like jewel tones, which is good because they look better on me.

5. what does the smell of cinnamon bring to mind, and why?

I think of the first N times I ever had cinnamon for some large N: cinnamon toast made by my mother. It's nostalgic.

6. 8:30am, 4pm, or 11:45pm, and why?

As much as the poseur in me wants to say 11:45pm, the real answer is 4pm. That's when I really start to wake up and get productive. I was also born at 4:03pm.

1) You knew this was coming, so get ready: what's your dream scene?
2) How much of the above does your beau know? If the answer is at least "all the most important parts", did he freak, or was he just unenthused?
3) The Wendling's seen me femmed up. Have you thought about whether, when or how you're going to tell your kids about kink in general? Your kinks in particular?
4) You're one of the more domestic people I know. How into being a homemaker are you?

1) Do you want to make it big as a recording artist? If so, what's your plan for world domination? If not, why on earth not?
2) Mes apologies if you've answered this one too many times already, but what's the plan for progeny? When, how many, etc.?
3) My condolences about your kitty. Will you be getting another one any time soon? Would you consider another species? I recommend a floppy-eared dawg, of course.
4) If you were to redecorate your currrent living room with money being no object, what would it look like?
5) You're funkier than I thought a few months ago. Is this a recent development, or am I just clueless? Will the funk continue to increase?

1) We met at a Vaxer party once upon a time. Do you still keep in touch with them? Do you feel like you still have much in common with them?
2) So you've squeezed out a baby! Is parenthood harder than you thought it would be? More rewarding? Do you feel like you're the same person?
3) You're the only person I know who's been prescribed speed. It was for appetite control, but if I remember right you got off it because it made you feel so bad. Has that whole situation improved, or at least stabilized? Did it affect your pregnancy or anything else in your life?
4) Back in my Florida days I never went to a con, Ren faire, or anything like that because the nearest ones were hours away. I do them now. Do you?
5) Straps, chains, or chain mail?

Here goes:

1) Damn, you're a good dancer. When & how did you learn? What have you done/do you do with it?
2) If you read my journal, you know that my wife is suffering in every sense of the word from an autoimmune disorder. You've had (have?) one too. How much did it disrupt your life? How did you cope?
3) What does your ideal mate look like?
4) Do you live to work, or work to live? Can you imagine any job changing that?
5) We've established that you're a mixed drink person as opposed to a beer or wine fiend (me). Why so?
