No posts for the last four days because there have been too many low- to mid-level annoyances.

I don't enjoy being made to pay for others' mistakes.

Going to get my first-ever pedicure tomorrow night. I'll soon be running around someplace where sandals and open-toed shoes make a lot of sense.
I get the old place to myself - well, to myself and Bigpuppy - while Nibs & m'boy go down to Portland this weekend. Um, party? And by party I mean sleep?
I'm going to Florida a week from today. This is guaranteed to be the most interesting family visit of my entire life, and it may be the most fun.
Mom got the two of us opera tickets and asked me to bring something nice to wear there. Shyeah!
I'll be wearing the same thing to the little* coming-out party she's throwing for me. That bears repeating: My mother. Is throwing. A coming-out party for me.
Brunette Sister is flying down from DC to see me.
I'll be using jet lag as a flimsy pretext to see fizzgig_bites late at night.
It isn't inconceivable that M, Strawberry Blond Sister's husband, might swing by.

*Mom was going to invite her whole art class, but I persuaded her that some of them might not be ready to meet a lesbian transsexual still giddy from going Full Time. Dead septuagenarians in the house can be terribly inconvenient.
