My group's holiday party had the dress listed on the invitation as "festive". I didn't notice the link to Emily Post until later, so I asked my test manager R, "LBD or OTT?"
"LBD's are boring!" she replied. She had a point.

cupcake_goth, with black underskirts, 'Vogs, red fishnets, and the classic black beaded choker. I gotcher festive right here!
R, by the way, looked absolutely stunning in her red velvet, which was figure-hugging. We were the ladies in red.
Yeah, I stayed out too late, but I was having too good a time: some of my co-workers & their spouses are freaks, too.
