No, not girlfriend girlfriend. I went out for Ethiopian last night (Mm, Meskel) with swtlissab. I hadn't done that with her in about two years, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised that it was a marathon gabfest. After dinner we went across the street to the Twilight Exit for drinks. We spent over five hours together!

We spent much time talking about queer dating, since she's been pretty successful at it: she's been all but married & monogamous, complete with children, with the same woman for 16 years. She's not alone in her opinion that one must know what one wants before one has any chance of getting it; she had many detailed questions for me on that subject.

It's kind of a pity she's ineligible, because she's pretty cute, reasonably together - she and her partner have a small remodeling business - and she shares some of my (ahem) interests. She's the volunteer coordinator at the CSPC, which is good for all kinds of... excitement.

Mm, Meskel. Now I'm so hungry. (Though my Taiji class has been talking about going in search of the fabled Ethiopian restaurant in Cleveland. Though if that turns in to drinks at one of hte Jazz clubs, I am officially doomed.)
