Something happy arrives courtesy of UPS.

Just as I was about to head out the door for work today, UPS delivered my girl 'roids. The woman who handed me the package was cute and butch, with shortish, bleached hair spiked straight up. I gave her my best 'Well, hello there!' smile as I said, "Thanks."

From the door to my apartment, one can easily see the Pride flag on my living room wall.

She gave me a quick, surprised once over. I'm wearing downward-pointing triangle earrings; a company t-shirt; a short, pleated tartan skirt; black tights; and my Fluevog Radio KCRWs, which are mighty tall and none-too-femme boots. In other words, I looked like the big, flirty queerbo that I am. She walked away quickly.

Well, she did have packages to deliver. I'm not heartbroken. But all other things being equal, I may order shipping by UPS more often now.
