Since m'boy spends Friday & Saturday nights with his mother, and since Red Mill Burgers is off our menu permanently due to transphobic ownership, I took m'boy out to Thaiku on Greenwood last night. I'd never been. Food? Right on. Service? Distinctly meh. They didn't ask what kind of protein m'boy wanted on his pad thai and he didn't say, so they gave him shrimp, which he doesn't like. (Eating out with an Aspie tends to produce situations like this.) Decor? Way cool, with mysterious, freaky cartoons and Thai writing. Price? Acceptable, I guess.
On the way home, Nutty Squirrel Gelato. The Wendling had never had any, and I thought I should remedy that. Nom!
Afterward, he was a little stressed out, possibly because he'd messed up the timing of his anxiety meds, but also because he had an online study skills class to finish by EOD today. He says he'll be done before he leaves for work. We shall see.
