update: bike basket

I took my monster Wald handlebar basket back to Gregg's for an exchange. The knowledgeable sales dude said that Wald's other models won't fit FM Bike, either. Le sigh. So, it's back to the flimsier baskets. Well, that was status quo before the theft, and at least the basket is fairly light. But for serious grocery runs I'll probably want to use my Chrome bag. And I'll want to think hard about what goes in my Camelbak at The Thing In The Desert.

Interestingly, the salesman had heard of people hacking baskets so they could be used on bikes with suspensions, but he didn't like the looks of them and knew nothing of their reliability.

Just a front fender, and I'll be accessorized to my satisfaction.
