postscript: future travel plans

One of my agenda items for my trip to Olympia was to talk about plans to travel with the Tickler. I approached the subject with some trepidation because I was starting to get cold feet about going to Ibiza in May for two reasons:

1. The more I hear about Ibiza, the more it seems that it's jumped the shark and gone frat in a big way.
2. The Vampire Masquerade Ball in Portland is happening on May 25th, and even though I haven't been there in five years, I got a funny feeling it's time to go: people like trystbat who I only get to see once in a purple moon are going to be there.

Well, the VMB isn't really the Tickler's style, but to my relief she was right there with me on that first item. So, this year looks like VMB in the spring and Folsom in September.

I already have my VMB ticket & room. I'm driving down Saturday and I'll have room in my Prius if anyone wants to carpool.

Some things are 'every five years' ;) Also, Folsom is Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, right? If your schedule allows, maybe we could meet up, since I'm a heck of a lot closer now.

Are you still looking for passengers for VMB? We haven't completely decided we're going, but I have a slinky way-off-shoulder All Saints dress I've never worn and I'd really like to do something about that.

Tickets purchased! Hotel room procured! (Not the event hotel but one a five minute walk away from it. Oh no. It looks prettier--you can come hang out with us there.)
