Back: not spasming.
Bunion: not stabby even once so far today.
Knees: not bad lately. I can even climb escalators, slowly, in reasonable comfort.
Toenails: completely healed six months ago.
In other words, no part of me hurts. That hasn't been true for a long time, maybe years. I'm tempted to wait for some other shoe to drop.
I found out from a cousin whom I haven't seen in decades that another cousin, this one once removed from me and therefore her nephew, was hit by a truck and died at the age of twenty-five. I'd never met the young man, and I'm not happy about that.
Fun fact: I have three first cousins once removed on my mother's side who are close to my age. We always used to hang together when my little nuclear family drove up to Virginia. I wonder if I can track them down.
