Had a lovely if too-brief time at moonfiregirl's. Too brief because I waited an hour for the temperature to drop before putting on my expensive, largely silk Blue Confection, and boy howdy, was I glad I did. Props to samemaha for doing a fine, secure job of binding my hands. I wish I could remember everbody's names, dammit.

Took Wendling to Uwajimaya along with eeyorerin & co. I wasn't very social, but as she points out, there'll be time for that later. Trips to Waji's are very much a kid thing.

The live action version of The Tick is funny, but not as funny as the novel version of The Hotel New Hampshire. Ethnic humor for WASPs.

He just turned seven. Maybe that's why. Seriously, it might have been because a) he's not that familiar with you & xmurf and that spooked him; b) he loves Uwajimaya trips and that kept him occupied; or c) he usually saves the crazy-making behavior for home.
