I just spent the last couple of hours volunteering for the Democrats, working the phones to identify voters for get-out-the-vote calls later. Lessons learned:
- Lots of people in Redmond don't answer their phone between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
- A surprisingly large number of people don't want to tell anybody who they're voting for.
- The age and gender breakdowns fit the stereotype pretty well, at least in the Redmond precinct I was calling: women and younger people lean toward Us.
- Democrats make good zucchini bread.
- Bill Clinton is a Jedi speech master. Too bad he can't run.

Clinton is a Jedi Speech Master

and "talking" (not preaching, but talking as if over lunch) to
people in a direct, humorous, but to the point kinda way.
My goodness I will Bill Clinton could run again. As it were, I still believe Kerry is a good candidate and LORD knows we need to get that man into the White House
