My thrifting jinx has lifted. Who knew that Judy the Pool Shark* is about as tall as I am? I'm used to seeing her bent over a billiards table.
Been offering bumper stickers to complete strangers in Redmond with modest success. No assaults from crazed Bushies. Yet.
One of the Wendling's many quirks is a reluctance to dial a telephone. (It took us much longer than most parents to get him to talk on one.) I got the Wendling to dial my cell number so I could ask him what he wanted for bedtime snack from an inaudible part of the house. Score one for Daddy, one for my boy, and one for modern technology.
*Disclaimer: Judy has never, to my knowledge, hustled anybody. She is, however, better at pool than most of her opponents.
